The IPSS 3i’s Award: Shaping Leadership for Africa’s Future
Kaduna, Nigeria – The Institute of Professional Sociological Studies (IPSS) Nigeria is proud to announce the launch of a groundbreaking initiative aimed at recognizing and celebrating transformational leadership across Africa – The 3i’s Award (Integrity, Impact, and Innovation).
The 3i’s Award is designed to honour individuals whose contributions to society embody the values of integrity, social impact, and innovation. By celebrating exemplary leaders, the award seeks to inspire a new generation of Africans committed to positive change and sustainable development.
Each year, a maximum of 15 distinguished personalities will be honoured across the following categories:

Integrity Leadership Award – Recognizing leaders who uphold ethical standards and transparency (3 awardees).

Social Impact Award – Celebrating individuals whose work has significantly improved lives and communities (3 awardees).

Innovation Award – Honouring trailblazers who have introduced transformative ideas, technologies, or practices (3 awardees).

Youth Vanguard Award (Under 35) – Highlighting the achievements of young leaders driving change (3 awardees).

Lifetime Achievement Award – Recognizing a legacy of outstanding leadership and service (3 awardees).
Nomination Call
IPSS invites nominations from the public for individuals who exemplify excellence in leadership, service, and societal transformation. Nominations will undergo a rigorous review process, ensuring that only the most deserving are recognized.
A Prestigious Recognition
With only three recipients in each category annually, the 3i’s Award stands as one of the most competitive and prestigious honours in the region, reinforcing IPSS’s mission of promoting professionalism, accountability, and social advancement in Africa.
